Gavin had a day off of school for MLK Jr. and these are his thoughts:
Gavin, do you know why you're off of school tomorrow? "yes, it's King Arthur day" hmmmm....
Do you know why we celebrate MLK day? "Yes, a long time ago the blacks and whites were fighting a war and he said to talk it out instead of fighting about it."
I love to hear the way he thinks about life. It is so refreshing to hear that things are so cut and dry, because for the most part it is. Just ask a 6 year old!
